Sanctuary Estate is owned and managed by James Davis, who envisions sharing this peaceful retreat with nature-minded guests.
The Sanctuary Estate is a proud supporter of the Hawaii Nature Center, and its mission to “connect children and families to nature.”
“We feel inspired to grow food for the community and to provide a space for our guests to connect with nature and rejuvenate themselves in the process. We designed the farm to make an impression on all five senses, leaving our guests enlightened in the process. This venue is small by design so we can customize to our guests needs,” says James.
Wesley Sargent is the Operating Manager and owner of Love Always Weddings Hawaii. She is truly a bright shining star who spreads joy, love and enthusiasm wherever she goes. A happy mother of two wonderful children and two German shepherds, she hosts small weddings and elopements on Oahu. James Davis and his family, with three young children, retreat to the farm whenever they can to enjoy the power of unplugging from their daily lives. He is a weekend farmer, a proud father, an experienced real estate broker and developer of luxury homes. He coaches sports, and teaches earth science as a volunteer at Hawaii Nature Center.
“We have an event and photography site tucked into nature, on a cacao farm, along a stream on the North Shore of Oahu. Old-growth mature Banyan and Monkeypod trees surround the property and offer a rare wilderness setting for a variety of photography locations” he adds.
The newly built, modern farmhouse has won AIA Architectural awards and is an inspiring setting to immerse within the surrounding nature. Use of the farmhouse provides interior space, and a setting to base chef-catered meals, yoga, meditation, wellness retreats, and more.
